Because it's more fun and less stress, I always photograph families outdoors or at home. It makes life easier for you guys and it is an artistic challenge for me, as every time there is something different to see and fresh images to create.

We have popular locations that we often use such as Windsor Castle and Virginia Water, but you may have a place that means a lot to your family that would be ideal for your portraits - perhaps your garden or a country park you visit. If the weather is a problem we can postpone or move on to your home. Only rain or too much sun can stop us!

With a family sitting I'll take formal pictures of the whole gang, plus shots of all the children on their own or in combinations. As things relax there'll be more fun and informal pictures, many of which will suit black and white. I work quickly keeping things lively and interesting for the younger members and welcome your suggestions. There is no limit to the shooting or length of the sessions other than the patience of the children so expect to allow 1-2 hours. Sessions within 20 minutes travel of our base in Chertsey cost £125 with wall prints from around £300.
